Title: Pain
Fandom: Family Guy
Characters/Pairings: Meg
Word Count: 200
Rating: PG/K+
Summary: Meg hurts, but she knows how to deal with the pain.
She bites down on the rough, coarse rope in her mouth to keep from screaming as she drags the knife's blade across her tender skin. She welcomes the pain, closing her eyes as her blood begins to spill. She wonders what would happen if she went all the way or maybe moved the knife to her jugular. Nobody would care any more than they do now.
Tears well up behind her closed eyelids, so she digs deeper with the knife. She remembers the time she cut almost all the way to the bone and had to hide her arms for weeks. Nobody noticed. Nobody even noticed the time back when she tested how much they paid attention to her by plainly cutting out a chunk of her fat cheeks.
They don't care about her. Nobody cares about her. She is alone in this world while surrounded by people. Her parents hate her. She is the verbal punching bag for not just her entire school but her family as well. Even her dog finds her disgusting.
But at least this pain -- this searing pain shooting through her arm now -- can distract her from her emotions. Clenching the rope, Meg digs deeper.
The End
