Summary: The town wasn't always as clean and tidy.

The town's overflowing landfill site used to be a real social problem until Pneuma, possibly motivated more by the proximity of his mansion to the smelly, occasionally leaking garbage dump than any kind of uncharacteristic altruism, introduced a formal recycling system. The self-proclaimed philanthropist paid to distribute recycle bins for a variety of different recyclables around town, hiring guards to enforce on the spot fines which he bought out the mayor to be allowed to privately collect. After trade with the elemental spirits returned to Arges, the Dwarves forged all the aluminium into armour, making Arges the world's adventuring capital.
