"Money can't buy love, don't ya know?" Agnea laughed and pretended to sulk.
"Hey now, its just a gift. I didn't mean nothin' by it."
"Well, this is certainly a fine dress," she held up the expensive silk garment, "I can dance real well in it, too."
"Why don't ya try it on in the changing room? I'll be waitin'!"
Agnea giggled again and waltzed into the cubicle. Moments later, she emerged, to Partitio's whistle of admiration.
"Hot dang! You look like a dream!"
"Uh-huh? And now I'm gonna treat you back. This is gonna be my debut performance with a new costume and song."
"In the middle of a crowded department store?"
"Hey, nobody'll mind, it'll probably attract customers."
"Huh. Maybe it'll even catch on," mused Partitio, "There's room for a concert in the foyer, this place could be a real experience, not just for shoppin'..."
"Your girlfriend is about to dance in a pretty dress and you're thinkin' about business?" Agnea glared at him.
"Aaah, sorry!"
"Too late," she cackled and swiped his hat off his head before pirouetting into the main hallway, clapping her hands. She's already attracted a crowd. He ran to get a good view.
