Freak (200 words) by look_turtles
Chapters: 1/1
Fandom: Murderbot (TV)
Rating: General Audiences
Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Relationships: Dr. Gurathin/Murderbot (Murderbot Diaries)
Summary:
Written for the anythingdrabble prompt: row
Gurathin always knew he was a freak and it wasn’t because he had a genetic condition where his body stopped producing melanin and left white patches on his skin. No, he was a freak because he was a robosexual.
He had tried having a human lover once, but their hairy naked body had been off-putting.
That was probably why Murderbot ended up in his bed as he rested his head on its chest. Even though it looked mostly human, it was still a robot.
Instead of a heart, it had an engine that had a row of gears and rods inside it and instead of a heartbeat, Gurathin listened to a soft whirring sound.
Murderbot had its arm wrapped around him and its fingers were combing through his hair.
‘What are you doing?’ Gurathin asked even though he was almost certain of the answer.
‘I’m watching Sanctuary Moon.’
‘I still don’t understand how you can watch that,’ Gurathin said because he thought the writing was amateurish at best.
Perhaps that meant that Murderbot was also a freak, only a freak would watch a serial with a plot line about robot falling in love with a human. It was just ridiculous.
